How the daily puzzle works
Every day at midnight (your local time) a new sudoku appears, and everyone who opens this page gets the same grid. It is a medium puzzle with about 32 givens, checked by a solver to have exactly one solution, so you never need to guess. Your progress is saved in your browser, so you can finish it later in the day.
Tips for a quick daily solve
- Start with the boxes that already have the most numbers: hidden singles appear there first.
- Scan one digit at a time across all nine boxes before switching to notes.
- Use notes only for cells with two or three candidates; full notes slow you down on medium puzzles.
- Watch the timer, but don’t rush: a mistake costs more time than careful scanning.
Make it a habit
